What we check
- Maximum Demand and Contract Demand. Excess-demand penalties, and whether your Contract Demand is set too high or too low. See MD penalty and Contract Demand.
- Power factor and kVAh billing. What low power factor adds to every unit, and the capacitor size that fixes it. See power factor penalty and kVAh billing.
- TOD units. How many units fall in peak hours, and what moving some of them would save. See TOD tariff.
- Billing errors. Meter readings times the multiplying factor, checked against the units billed.
- Late payment and rebates. Surcharges paid, prompt-payment rebates missed, and arrears carried forward.

What to send
- Up to 12 months of bills for one connection. Twelve months show the full year; even one bill is worth checking.
- Every page of each bill.
- Your name, firm name and phone number.

Common questions
Is the bill check really free?+
Yes. There is no fee and nothing to buy. The report is yours to keep, whether or not you work with us.
Which bills can you check?+
Bills from any Indian DISCOM for industrial and commercial connections, HT or LT. We check each bill against the tariff for your category, so send every page, including the tariff and reading details.
How many bills should I send?+
Up to 12 months for one connection. A full year shows the highest demand of the year and the seasonal TOD hours. Fewer bills still give a useful check.
What do you do with my bills?+
We use them to prepare your report and to contact you about it. With names, addresses and account numbers removed, we may also use them to train our models. We delete the bills 6 months after the report, or earlier if you ask. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
Do I need KONDUKTOR EMS to act on the report?+
No. Many fixes, such as a capacitor bank, a Contract Demand change request or paying before the due date, need no new system. KONDUKTOR EMS helps when the cause is inside the plant: which meter, which shift and which minute.
